WATCH: 'Mickey and the Magician' Debuts at Animagique Theatre in Walt Disney Studios Park

July 2nd has finally come, and Disneyland Paris is ready to lift the veil on their brand new stage show 'Mickey and the Magician'. When Animagique closed after a 13 year run, many Disneyland Paris fans were dubious of what was going to replace this much beloved blacklight show. However Disney Musical Productions have out done themselves once again, and created a show that is truly breath-taking and magical with real illusions and spell-binding numbers that are sung in both English and French.

Mickey and the Magician features classics such as the Fairy Godmother singing 'Bibbity Bobbity Boo', Lumiere singing 'Be Our Guest' and The Lion King's Opening Number, 'Circle of Life'. However the stand out number comes when the Genie from Aladdin appears and performs 'Friend Like Me' whilst conducting incredible magic tricks. Although these may all sound like Disney Classics, the show also features Queen Elsa singing 'Let It Go', however it is the costume transition that is truly innovative and has not been seen in any other Disney Park to date.

Make sure to see this show live during its scheduled run of July 2nd, 2016 to January 8th, 2017. However I would be surprised if Disneyland Paris do not decide to extend the duration, now seeing what an incredible replacement they have dreamt up to Animagique. Mickey and the Magician is surely set to please those dubious Disneyland Paris fans.
