Walt Disney World has unveiled details, including the price, of its new Star Wars Tour based out of Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park.
The seven-hour experience will sell for $121.12, plus admission to Hollywood Studios will be required, according to Disney World's official website. The tour was announced Monday night during a Disney Parks Blog event that included the transformation of Epcot's Spaceship Earth into the famed Death Star from "Star Wars."
Officials at the event said the guided tour would be available in 2017.
Reservations are not yet being taken. An operator said the tours will be held on Mondays and Saturdays, starting in January. Tour dates and times will vary, the site says.
The website includes other details about the event, dubbed the Star Wars Tour (and "coming soon.") Among the amenities are reviewing view areas for two stage shows — "Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away" and "March of the First Order" -- and the nighttime spectacular; a themed lunch at Backlot Express and reservations at a dessert party; meetings with Kylo Ren and Chewbacca characters; and experiences at current attractions such as the Star Wars Launch Bay, the Star Tours ride and, for children between ages 4 and 12, enrollment in Jedi Training.
The site also lists a "personalized souvenir" from the day.
Tour guests will check in at the park's Great Movie Ride. Other restrictions: Visitors under age 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult, and you forfeit the price of the tour if you are a no-show or cancel within two days of your reservation.
