Legendary Composer, John Williams To Begin Working On 'Star Wars: Episode VIII'

John Williams and the Boston Pops recently performed at Tanglewood where Williams dropped some big news regarding Star Wars: Episode VIII. According to Mass Live, Williams confirmed that he’s seeing a early screening of Episode VIII In a few weeks:

“Williams told the crowd he would begin work in a few weeks on the much-anticipated “Star Wars: Episode VIII” after seeing an early cut.”

So not only is Williams getting to see Episode VIII, but he is going to start working on the score for it. Honestly, I am surprised that he is working on the film so early. We still have 16 months till the film drops which is more then enough time for the film to be scored. I would not be surprised if he is working on a score for the first teaser trailer, but I wouldn’t expect to see something like that till Star Wars Celebration Orlando in April. Star Wars: Episode VIII arrives in theaters December 15th, 2017.
