They're back and spookier than ever!
Artist Jirka Väätäinen has created a new set of realistic Disney villains just in time for Halloween, and like last year, his work is uncanny. Sharing them on Instagram and his personal website, Jirka selected Jafar, Cruella de Vil, Hans, Judge Claude Frollo and Mother Gothel for this year's installment of his popular series. As per usual, the artist somehow transforms the animated antagonists into gorgeous subjects, making us put aside our fear in favor of admiration. Prior to taking on Disney's popular villains, Jirka created realistic portraits of Disney princesses and sexy (yes, sexy) re-imaginations of Disney princes.
As you can see in the above photo, Jirka turned Jafar into the creepiest looking Vizier in all of Agrabah. From his long, slender fingers to his invasive stare, this Jafar would turn Aladdin into a legit horror movie.
Dalmation fur aside, Cruella de Vil was always glamorous, but somehow the artist takes her to another level in his realistic representation of her. Just look at that bold red lip and plunging neckline! Get it, girl—just leave the dogs out of it.
Frozen's Hans tricked all of us into thinking he was going to be the one for Anna, so we won't let his trickery blind us this time around. With his mutton chops and seemingly perfect hair, realistic Hans look ready to deceive all over again—this time in real life.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame's Judge Claude Frollo looks equally evil as an animated character or a realistic one. No matter what, getting cooped up in a bell tower with this creeper watching your every move is always going to be unsettling, especially with that signature glare.
Tangled's Mother Gothel makes being evil look good. Jirka's representation of Rapunzel's faux-mother looks equally gorgeous and vile with her crimson dress and nails.
If you needed a little extra Halloween inspo, look no farther than these realistic portraits because they could be you!
